I am Matt Dengler, M.Ed, MS, RDN, LDN. I am a Registered and Licensed Dietitian in Charlotte, NC. I am a former NCAA football player who has always strived to achieve optimal physical performance for athletes and myself. As a retired teacher and coach for 8 years, I've developed a passion for helping athletes perform at their highest levels through proper mechanics and nutrition necessities. This passion led me to quit teaching and pursue further education in nutrition. I dedicated the next 8 years to receiving a formal education in physiology and nutrition. In my pursuits, I earned a Masters Degree in Sports Sciences from Wingate University, Wingate, NC (2011) and a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Winthrop University, Rock Hill, SC (2016).
In early 2018, I opened my private practice, RxRD Nutrition LLC., in Charlotte, NC. I work closely with fitness communities, providing science-based nutrition information to help athletes fuel their performance, achieve nutrition goals, and help create lifestyle changes. I currently work with multiple gyms to provide accurate nutrition information and with clients 1-on-1 to provide detailed, customized nutrition plans for athletes. By providing science-based nutrition information, I strive to help athletes of all ages achieve their weight management, sports performance, and lifestyle change goals.

Kate Emproto MS, RDN, LDN, CPT. Kate is a New York native and moved to Charlotte in 2018 after finishing her nutrition undergraduate degree at Long Island University. She earned her Registered Dietitian qualification and Master of Science degree in Exercise Science from Lenoir-Rhyne University. In Kate’s free time, you will find her at the local run clubs, exploring local coffee shops, and walking the rail trail in Southend with her dog, Mickie. She has a passion for nutrition and helping people meet their goals through exercise and a balanced lifestyle plan.
